Honesty before the sale
If a cheaper off-the-shelf tool solves your problem, we will say so. A short honest answer has won us more long-term clients than any proposal ever has.
Green Monday Technologies LTD is a software engineering and ICT company established in Uganda in 2010. We are the team businesses call when software has to work every day, under real conditions, for years.
In 2010 the pattern across Kampala was familiar: a business would commission a system, use it for a year, and then quietly return to spreadsheets. Not because the idea was wrong — but because nobody documented it, nobody trained anyone on it, and nobody was left to support it.
Green Monday Technologies was founded to close that gap. We build custom software, cross-platform mobile applications and SaaS systems, and we stay after launch: training users, patching servers, extending features and answering the phone when something breaks at 7am.
Over fifteen years that has grown into three connected practices — software engineering, ICT services and infrastructure, and a rescue unit dedicated to recovering abandoned or failing systems. Different work, one standard: it has to still be running, and still be understood, long after we invoice.
To give African businesses software they can rely on and understand — built properly, documented fully and supported for as long as they need it.
To be the engineering partner East African organisations trust with the systems their operations depend on.
GM Tech opens its doors in Uganda with a small team of developers and a simple promise: build systems that businesses can still use five years later.
Clients running our software start asking who will run their networks, servers and backups. The ICT services and support arm is formed.
With smartphones spreading faster than desktops, the team moves to cross-platform development so every system ships with a mobile face.
A pattern becomes impossible to ignore: businesses stuck with abandoned, undocumented software. We build a formal audit-and-recover service around it.
We begin building multi-tenant SaaS products — our own and our clients’ — with cloud hosting, metering and billing as standard.
A full-stack engineering team serving clients across Uganda and the region, from single-branch retailers to multi-site organisations.

Your source code, your servers, your data, your accounts. We work in your repositories and hand over full documentation. Leaving us should always be possible — that is what keeps us sharp.
Requirements written in a boardroom rarely survive the shop floor. We spend time with the people who will actually use the system, every single project.
We take on fewer projects than we could so that each one is delivered, documented and supported. The abandoned systems we rescue are a daily reminder of the alternative.
You will not be passed between account managers. The engineer who scoped your system is the engineer who builds it, and the person who answers your support ticket has read your code.
A compact, senior team covering every stage from first workshop to overnight support call.
